DelVal Youth Softball in 2012

We’re excited to offer two teams to compete in the DelVal Youth Softball League for the 2012 season to represent Haverford Township. Chris Ellison will coach the U16 team (girls aged 16 years of age or less on December 31, 2011) and Pat Brough will coach the U14 team (girls aged 14 years of age or less on December 31, 2011).

In order to select the teams that will best represent Haverford Township, we ask that you decide on your commitment as early as possible and that you contact Chris (email him at cnellison@aol.com) and Pat (email him at pbrough@nyl.com)

The DelVal Youth Softball League consists of teams throughout Delaware County who want to participate in a competitive softball environment. Teams play anywhere from 14-25 games per season, including a playoff season, that runs from early April through late June. There is also season-ending tournament held in mid July.

Girls interested in playing must be willing to commit to a lengthy game schedule and weekly practices. It is a great way to improve your game and be part of a winning atmosphere representing our Haverford Township League. Home games are played at the Haverford Reserve.
